Agritech Adoption Breakfast

Why does good agritech struggle to gain traction?

There is no shortage of technology being developed for agriculture and horticulture. Getting it adopted can be another matter. That gap will be the focus of the next Hawke’s Bay Innovation Club breakfast. Agritech New Zealand chief executive Brendan O’Connell will lead a panel looking at some of the practical issues affecting adoption, including barriers to adoption, customer readiness to take on new systems, and how businesses make useful decisions from the data those systems generate.

He will be joined by Andrew Gibbs, chair of the Aotearoa Horticulture Action Plan steering group and New Zealand Apples & Pears, Gareth Ellis from CR Automation, and more panellists to be announced in our next newsletter.
